Went to my first ever high school football game yesterday!
And we WON! 24-6
Had fun up until halftime
Then...
Started feeling better by the fourth quarter
And by the end I felt great again
Went with the best friend, Kierra

Thanksgiving
lasted two days
It might be my last one home
depending on where I go to college
Speaking of which
i've been counting down the days for Columbia's reply
17 days left
It makes me happy and gets rid of the anxiety
this counting down

I've told my parents I'll come for the holidays and such
will need to save up for flights and such
There's no way I'm missing the ball drop
in New York City on New Year's tho
I've never been to it
Hopefully Columbia will take me

I haven't worked on any homework over the break
Am quite behind! lol
Ah wells, plan on doing that for the rest of this weekend
Going back to school for three more weeks, then Christmas Break!
Just have to get through them

need to finish EE and start on World Lit cos it's due soon
and my ITGS project
I hate deadlines by the way. That's what's making me hate the project
Other than that...I'm glad I'm doing it

My friend compared Hamlet to a nudist somehow
She's a genius so I'll go with that lol

Almost couldn't go to the game yesterday bc my mom thought i would get pneumonia
Frankly, she's insane
I only had a cold and it's mostly been coughing
And i have a strong immune system
Doing perfectly fine today

I had a journal that got accidentally deleted for Thanksgiving
and i was annoyed cos i had featured my lovely friend Kay and said what i was thankful for.

and I hate
but i'm learning the bitter lessons from him

i let go of someone who was just being a complete ass and a bad friend to me
i don't think it was worth trying to repair things
but i wonder was not fixing things and ending our friendship the easiest thing to do? Or the hardest? Because the first time i did this, letting go was the easy solution. And sometimes i wonder what would have happened if i had just gotten over some issues and stayed friends with this person in the first situation

i feel light tho
he was a terrible guy friend
and writing an angry message that i never sent definitely made me feel better
speaking of writing
i think i may have started to again

Kierrasan thinks i should post two of my college app essays
need to edit them tho

going to Furman with her tomorrows and probly meeting
up with two other friends there

Can't wait til Thanksgiving Need time off!

but i don't regret it
might even miss is after i graduate
wish the semester was over already

and i'm supah anxious to get it!!

So. I got the QuestBridge Scholarship.
Equals a full ride to Columbia University in New York City!!!!!!!!!!!
Am extremely and super happy!!!!

Goodness. I worked so hard for that. Had to write 3 essays and answer any questions. Stayed up past 12 to finish and everything lol

Made a really good History IA grade Am happy for that. Didn't expect it because I wrote it in one night. And the following day i felt horrible. Only 2 hours of sleep. Things like that make me hate IB but it's slowed down quite a bit this week

I know i haven't updated in a while and i wouldn't know where to begin to tell you guys what been going on lately so here are just little pieces:

I've had writer's block for over 2 months.
I'm trying to embrace the fact that i haven't written in what seems like forever
Have read a lot lately. You guys should read "The Historian" Tis kickass historical fiction? Sorta? lol
Things I have to revise/work on: History IA, EE, World Lit 1, more college essays and apps, school stuff

I love you guys. I miss you. I've been around, faving and commenting but I haven't updated or posted anything in weeks. I'm sorry. I can't write because of IB? But that doesn't completely cover it. I think i don't try to make time for it anymore. And. I. Don't. Want. To. Force. It. Makes me sad.
